The RVARC club meeting will be held TUESDAY, June 2nd at 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Library, 340 W C St., Jacksonville, Oregon.

The program will be about our joint CARE / RVARC / JCARES Field Day event, presented by Matthew White, KM7AJD.

This meeting or event is not sponsored nor endorsed by the Library.

CARE Club meets the 2nd Thursdays at the Fiesta Restaurant on Riverside Ave, Medford.

Treasurer’s report: $6089.27 bank balance

Presentation: Field Day by Matthew White, KM7AJD, and Tom McDermott, N5EG

Tom went over the history of Field Day, noting the first announcement of a field day was on June 10, 1933. Matt described the setup for this year’s field day at the White City VA location, with some equipment there being a 20" baby loop for 40M to 10M use, a GR5V GOTA setup, an end-fed dipole antenna, and the JCARES EmComm Van.
