The RVARC club meeting will be held TUESDAY, April 7th at 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Library, 340 W C St., Jacksonville, Oregon.
The program will be on SOTA Tube Transmitter. The speaker will be Dan Koellen, AI6XG.

2026-04-07 RVARC Meeting Minutes
7:06pm Meeting called to order by President Haptonstall, AG7GP. 21 attendees, including about 7 visitors.
The zoom presentation on “CW Tube Transmitter SOTA” by Dan Koellen, AI6XG, was first.
Part of Dan’s plan for building a battery operated tube transmitter was to use technology from all the decades of the 1940’s through the 2020’s. One key element for the B+ supply was to use a modern, miniature, solid-state dc-dc converter made for powering nixie-tubes.
