November 6, 2025 Club Meeting
The RVARC club meeting will be held Thursday, November 6th at 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Library, 340 W C St., Jacksonville, Oregon. Our speaker will be Matt, KC7OOY who will talk about his amateur radio trailer supporting load of antennas, and high power operation.
This meeting or event is not sponsored nor endorsed by the Library.

6:58pm V.P. Allan Taylor, K7GT, called the meeting to order. Attendance and introduction of 26 people.
7:04pm Nominations for 2026 club officers were:
- Amy Haptonstall, AG7GP,for President
- Allan Taylor, K7GT, for Vice President
- Mike Bach, W6FFC, for Treasurer
- John Armstrong, KF7UMK, for Secretary
No other nominations being received, a motion was made to vote by acclamation, and seconded by Allan Taylor. Voting was unanimous to accept the nominated slate.
7:07pm There was a January meeting date discussion, due to the fact that the first Thursday of January 2026 is New Years Day. Allan Taylor proposed we meet January 8th instead, it was seconded by Amy Haptonstall, and accepted by the members.
Mike Fowler, N7XBJ, invited us to the CARE Club’s Christmas party, Saturday, December 13th at 4pm at the Roxy Ann Grange, 1850 Spring St, Medford, OR 97504.
7:12pm Treasurer’s Report: $5769.27 bank balance plus $30 dues not yet deposited.
The program for the December meeting was announced to be a Zoom presentation on Flex Radio.
7:19pm Break for coffee, snacks, and visiting.
7:47pm Presentation by Matt Stagg, KC7OOY, on the design, building, and operation of his radio trailer.
8:21pm End presentation, start Q&A
8:27pm Mike & Josh from the CARE club requested help for the 2026 Field Day planning. Help is needed to find a location, and more kids could be involved if it was in town. Also, folks are needed to help set up the logging network, and for cooking, and for knowing what ARRL rules apply for 2026 FD.
A license test session is planned for Saturday, Nov 22, at the Star Auto Body location from 9am-2pm.
