Scott is working with the BLM to try and secure space again near Hyatt Lake.

Jackson County has raised the insurance requirements so high that we can no longer use county parks or facilities for events. Our underwriter will not write a policy that large.

Scott, NA7OM, says the Hyatt Lake location is likely for Field Day, Jun 25 & 26 this year.

Motion to Approve up to $250 for field day expenses was made by John Layborne, seconded by Don Bennett. Motion passed without opposition.

Reports of our Field Day 2022 said about 1400 contacts were made, and total expenses amounted to $435 for food and gasoline. $250 had been approved and the costs were split 50/50 with the CARE club, so we were under budget.

Field Day 2022 results were printed in the December issue of QST. Our club scored 2784 points in the 2A OR category. This was good enough to place us #1 in Oregon 2A, and #4 in Oregon overall.
