Program: Field Day
We will discuss Field Day plans, location, and associated club activities. Since this is an outdoor event, we will be able to have more freedom in conducting activities. As COVID declines and vaccinations increase we can start making progress returning to normal. ARRL interim Field Day rules will still be in effect this year.
For this month’s program we will discuss potential Field Day activities for the club. Our normal site has not yet been released for general use. Several members have been looking at possible locations in the Hyatt Lake area. With the higher altitude it might be cooler than our previous close-in (but down in the valley) locations.

Meeting minutes from the June 3rd general membership zoom meeting.
Meeting was called to order by Pat at about 7:00 PM.
Discussion on repeaters and repeater listings. Luke mentioned http://hearham.com/repeaters as one list. Tom put together a list by combining several existing lists and one from JCARES. It’s now on our club webpage at: https://k7mfr.org/pages/local-info/repeaters/
The club field day location was selected: 7975 E. Hyatt Lake Rd. on the ballfield. RV and tent camping are available, and there were openings at the time of the club meeting. The club will be operating 2A.
Tom setup Logbook of The World (LoTW) for the club callsign: K7MFR. [Ed note: all our 2021 Field Day logs have been uploaded to LoTW].
The treasurer reported a club bank account balance of $5069.01.
Scott made a motion, Raoul seconded to allocate $250.00 for Field Day expenses. Motion passes without opposition.
The meeting was adjourned after 8:15 PM.
