Program: My Favorite DX’ing Tools, Scott Cummings, NA7OM

Scott will present some of his favorite computer (mostly) tools for DX’ing. Knowing when the band will be open to a particular location, the right direction to point your beam, and a whole host of other information is useful in working that rarew or elusive Dx.

Biography: Scott Cummings, NA7OM is past club president and vice president. He is active on HF contesting and DXing.

Announced in the January 2021 issue of The Repeater.

Meeting Notes

From the February 2021 issue of The Repeater.

The secretary’s minutes from the January meeting are not available. I’ll do my best based on recollection.

The program was supposed to be about Favorite DXing tools, but it was not available. Club members instead offered up their favorite DXing, Propagation, and other ham radio tools and websites. Overall actually quite interesting.

There were no motions or votes at the meeting. Our treasurer reports that the club bank balance as of January 25, 2021 is $ 5003.80

Future meeting topics were discussed and Pat (president) created an online poll for members and attendees to express their interest. Please go to the site and submit your interest if you’ve not already done so: http://k7mfr.org/MeetingInterest

Here is a list of some of the sites demonstrated or discussed during the meeting:

The February program will be a tag-team affair on N1MM+ setup, configuration, and use.
