November 1, 2018 Club Meeting

Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 7:00 PM Medford Police Department Community Room, 219 S. Ivy St., Medford, OR

Program: LF and VLF History, Lud Sibley

Low Frequency and Very Low Frequency (LF and VLF) equipment and history. With the opening of the 630 meter and 2200 meter amateur bands several years ago, hams have the chance to experiment with very different equipment and antennas. There is a long record of amateur and commercial LF radio equipment and Lud will present some of that history.

Lud Sibley is former club treasurer and the Rogue Valley’s resident historian on things vacuum tube, and related.

Club elections will be held at the November meeting.

Announced in the November 2018 issue of The Repeater.
