June 1, 2017 Club Meeting
Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 7:00 PM Red Cross Building, 60 Hawthorne St., Medford, OR (across from Hawthorne Park)
Program:
- Field Day, Mike Bach, WB6FFC
- Check your Radio Night
Mike Bach, WB6FFC will present the RVARC 2017 Field Day plans at ScienceWorks in Ashland. We will possibly be joined by the Cascade Amateur Radio Enthusiasts (CARE) and maybe JCARES in a multi-club effort. Mike also promises information on the very rare Eimac Gliptron.
Several club members will be bringing test equipment so you can measure the transmit spectrum of your radio and it’s frequency accuracy. We will have a spectrum analyzer and a frequency counter (using a rubidium reference oscillator) available. This is a chance to check your radio against some accurate equipment that you may not normally have access to.
Announced in the June 2017 issue of The Repeater.
