December 8, 2012 Club Meeting
Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 6:00 PM (note: Saturday) N5EG QTH, 3950 Southview Terrace, Medford, OR
Program: Christmas Pot luck Party
The December meeting this year is the club’s Christmas pot-luck party, held at the home of Tom McDermott, N5EG instead of the usual meeting.
Our annual Christmas party is coming up quickly. On Saturday, December 8th at 6:00 pm we will meet at the residence of Tom McDermott, N5EG for a pot luck dinner. Tom has a very spacious home, so there is plenty of room for everyone. There will be good food, fellowship and plenty of ham radio conversation. It will be fun to get caught up on what we have all been doing with our hobby lately. I got to preview some of the projects Tom has been working on recently and I guarantee you will find them fascinating. I sincerely hope every one of you will be able to join us.
The December Meeting this year will be a pot-luck dinner. There will be NO GIFT EXCHANGE.
If your last name begins with the letter:
- A through F—bring appetizer or finger food
- G through M—bring hot dish, vegetables, or bread
- N through Z—bring desert, fruits, or soft drinks
Far east Medford, just off Cherry Lane and Orchard View. Note that the date is SATURDAY.
Announced in the December 2012 issue of The Repeater.
Meeting Notes
From the January 2013 issue of The Repeater.
There is no secretary’s report for December as there was no business conducted at the meeting.
Our annual Christmas party was well attended this year and I for one had a great time. There was a lot of great food and conversation. Hopefully you had a chance to see Tom’s new SDR project he has been working on. I would like to thank Tom and Jeanine for their hospitality in hosting our pot luck this year.
