ROGUE VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB — May 1st 2008

Meeting called to order by President Don Bennett (KG7BP) at 7:10 pm..

Introduction of members and guests followed.

The April 3rd minutes were read. Motion to accept them was made and seconded. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s report by Lud Sibley (KB2EVN) was skipped this time as Lud wasn’t available to attend the meeting.

Old business:

Harry Ecklund (AE7NY) was sick and had to leave before being able to tell us about the pricing of yellow club jackets.

We will have at least 3 rigs for Field Day. We have secured the Berkeley Hills site for Field Day; however, final details to be finished soon. This includes insurance for the owners of the site.

New Business:

AARL Field Day T-shirts are available for $13.00

Also, an informal survey or possible operators and helpers on Field Day was made. At this time, it looks like we will have a 3 or 4 station setup.

The Field Day committee will meet at Kirby Wheeler (KL7VK)’s home on Thursday, May 8th at 7pm.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pm.

After the meeting, the club was treated to a very informative session with the Oregon Connection.
