Ice Cream Social 2007

The Club will again host an ice cream social at the home of Van and Loretta Sias (K7VS and XYL) on the first Thursday of August, August 2nd, between the hours of 7PM and 9PM. So mark your calendar for a repeat of last year’s gathering. They live at 641 Sunrise Avenue. Up the hill on East Jackson and turn left at the big church in Medford. Off street parking is available on the empty lot just below their home and in the driveway. Further parking is available on Ridgeway, just off Sunday on the street about half block from their home.

No need to bring anything. No children please. Just hams, their wives and adult guests. Feel free to bring a guest, if you like. See you there for a fun social gathering. Refreshments and Ice Cream and lots of casual conversation to be enjoyed.

Van hosted RVARC’s annual August ice-cream social at his nice place on hill. He reports that about 28 lucky people attended and had some good eyeball QSO’s. Next year I will have pay more attention to my schedule so I won’t be out of town and miss it.
